Dr Nazia Uddin graduated from the University of Liverpool. Dr Uddin has proudly lived all her life in Lancashire & has immersed herself in activities that will help the local population.
Dr Nazia Uddinʼs distinguished career as a Dentist spans through service including both Mersey and North West Deanery in regions traversing Liverpool, Manchester and Lancashire. Dr Nazia Uddin was the first Associate Dentist to care for patients at Littleborough Dental Practice. She continues, as always, to be both an integral and instrumental force in seeing Littleborough Dental Practice go from strength to strength and now Bury Dental Practice. She is an Educational Supervisor to newly qualified dentists.
Dr Nazia Uddin offers more than her wealth of her valued experience, she is passionately remains acquainted with the highest possible dental standards of practice & quality-assured dental healthcare. She has achieved this in many ways including completing her studies for the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) examination.
Dr Nazia Uddin is passionate about offering and delivering the very best dental options to her patients and has realized this through attending UK courses such as at Harley Street in London, where the rich and famous of society attend for treatment. Dr Uddin has also successfully completed in her spare time a distinguished Restorative Course, which has produced increasingly high demand from patients for her coveted superior class of dental treatment both to NHS and Private patients.
Dr Nazia Uddin has decidedly earned the trust and confidence of distinguished awarding bodies to be appointed, in partnership with Dr Khalid Mushtaq, to oversee and direct the Emergency Out of Hours Dental Care responsible for patients from Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale & Bury region. She holds practising dentistry dearly and is always asking what more can be done to keep her practice outstanding and leading from the front for both staff and patients.

Dr. Khalid Mushtaq
Dental Surgeon
Dr Khalid Mushtaq graduated St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr Mushtaq has proudly resided in Rochdale all his life and passionate about positively contributing to the local community which is immensely dear to him.
Dr Mushtaq is supremely trusted and such high regard has ensured him being appointed by distinguished awarding bodies the care of patients through Domiciliary Service, Prison Dental Care and in Partnership with Dr Nazia Uddin, oversees and directs the Emergency Out of Hours Dental Care responsible for patients from the area.
Dr Mushtaq is currently the Chair of the Bury & Rochdale Local Dental Committee.
Dr Mushtaq feels deeply passionate about the new generation of UK Dental Care Professionals.He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons. He was a Clinical Tutor for around 7 years at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). The practice is recognised as being a safe & high standard practice where the NHS trusts it fit for the newly qualified Dentists to receive an insight into the running of an approved practice. Dr Khalid is an approved mentor to newly graduated Dentists & Nurses as well as a BDA Good Practice Assessor & GDC Inspector amongst several other senior positions. Being steeped in such professionally highly responsible positions means Dr Mushtaq is fluent with the very latest dental training & protocol which in turn are incorporated by all staff and means the patients truly do get ‘the very best careʼ.
Dr Mushtaq zealously promotes a team building atmosphere at Littleborough Dental Practice and accounts the success of both the team and practice to ‘resolution achieved through heedingʼ the needs both patients & staff.
Equally dear to Dr Mushtaq is his beloved family who also share his passion for Rochdale and have their home here; Dr Mushtaq values the health & fitness of others as well as his own & makes this fun through long distance runs and playing squash.

Dr. Yasser Khan
Dental Surgeon
Dr Yasser Khan qualified at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, UK. He has been a part of the team here at Littleborough Dental Practice since summer 2010. Dr Khan works at the practice on a full-time basis and also provides Emergency Dental Services at BARDOC in Bury on a part- time basis.
Dr Khan is passionate about his work and always thrives for the highest possible standards of dentistry and patient comfort. He understands the importance of good communication and always ensures a calm and relaxing experience throughout your treatment. He aims to understand exactly what the patientʼs needs are, in order to achieve the desired result.
Outside work Dr Khan enjoys all sports and is an avid fan of travelling.
